About a month ago I found a Rainbow E2 at a garage sale for $200. I could not get it off my mind. Well I finally had some extra money and went to see if it was there. Well it was!! I made the guy plug it in and it started up but I noticed the power nozzle was noisy. I think this is due to a warped brush roll. I can get a new one no big deal. The rainbow came with an additional motor. I am not sure if it works but I will clean it up and find out. The whole vacuum was filty. I cleaned it up and it works great. I will worry about the 2nd motor later. Well also with the vacuum came the rainmate and the dealers bag. Inside the dealer bag I found all sorts of contracts and a price sheet. Also there was a demo tool, some scents/de-orderizer and the RAINBOW MATE MINI POWER NOZZLE!!! I think that was only used once. I am so happy I got this vacuum. It also came with the 4 quart water basin. I wish I had the smaller one but I will probably purchase that later too. Here are a few pics. I did not get a pic of the RainMate.

GREAT!

That's the 2 speed like I have.

When you say you cleaned it up, it was filthy.....I can tell you that's NOT a good sign......Whatever you do, take it somewhere and have the INSIDE cleaned if you can't do it yourself. The fans will be really dirty......People abuse the hell out of rainbows by not keeping the water changed, letting separator get dirty and storing it with dirty water.
