Who could resist the pink color. Just kidding. This Oreck portable does have a lot more suction and airflow compared to my earlier machine. I like the hairhair brushes and the longer hose and telescopic wand. It is much much quieter and has a hepa filter at the rear of the machine. I didn't know they now offer a portable set of wheels that can be snaped on and off the portable. It's very easy to use and did a great job on my hardwood floors.
Again the detailing on the upright is great with contrasting stiching and giant raised emblems. Very interesting color comb too. A comb of blackish-brown with pink trim.
A few years ago who would have guessed that Oreck would be making such a quality machine. The inner bag is almost like a cloth material. Very nice floor lighting too. Oreck is more like what the Hoover and Electrolux Companies were when I was a child with having over 400 stores to service and sell their machines. Both machines seem to be very high quality and easy to use compared to the other machines I have gotten in the last year. A surprise to me.
