I've known of your site for years, about the time I joined aw.org. It recently occurred to me -- why not join vcuumland too.
Although I'm mostly keen on clothes washers, I find vacuum cleaners interesting as well, with my earliest memories of being Mom and Grandmother both owning the Hoover egg-shaped vacuum cleaners. (I believe they were known as the "constellation" model. My wife loves her roomba.

It's good to now be a member!!!

Welcome aboard! And since you mentioned Hoover Constellations, here's one of mine. It's a model 82 that my Grandfather bought for my Grandmother for their 40th anniversary in April 1955, which was their last anniversary before he passed away. She brought it with her when she moved in with my parents & me when I was 9 years old, and stayed there the next 26 years, during which time it was only used to clean her room, as Mom had her own vacuum. Mom kept it after Grandma passed away, then I got it when mom moved from her house to an apartment. With the family history it is a cherished part of my collection!
