Well, after eyeing a 1-cr at a pawn shop, I found he same one for 1/3 the price at an estate sale and got accessories kit (red) & box from the 500 series Kirby’s! Score. Cleaned it all up...completely, and now use it....but have a brush roller on its way. The power nozzle housing is a bit bent...tried to straighten w/ the help of my local Kirby shop but only helped a bit...he was too afraid of cracking it if too much oressure was applied.

I started polishing and am very hopeful with these results. The side that looks he best had deeper scratches than the other side they and they are gone! I’m gaining confidence to attacking my othe a Kirby’s now. Used a drill and 3-4” sanding disks, automotive buffer w/auto compound , then Fisk metal polish , will do more though to make it even better. Love the original bag condition...the vac shows to be a 1970 model

Kirby haul Part 2

Oh yeah, a blue accessories kit with hopes of finding a Tradition sometime , was happy that I got the short lived Kirby container for it as well . I read that customers complained on difficulty unlatching it , I haven’t found that a problem . Only I didn’t find in it was the crevice tool extension/agitator wire which I know is easy to get.

Also, a 75% complete Omega accessories to complete my box attachments ( didn’t have inflator, floor attachment for power nozzle, crystalizer for blower function , small upholster tool, or strap)
