So last Thursday I brought a nice conditioned Kirby attachment set for about $60 on eBay. Apparently it’s been used very lightly as well. But it’s going to be a replacement for my other Kirby attachment set that came with my first one, model 517, plus I’m also want to get 3 sets of Kirby hoses for the new tool set and I want the 12 inch stretch hoses too. One for models 516 to Tradition, another one for Heritage 1-HD to Legend II, and lastly for G3 to Avalir II! And this past Monday I got a new multi surface carpet shampoo kit that will work with only G3 and Avalir II. It didn’t came with formula but all the parts that came with. No biggie.

Some people think this particular hose only fits with G5 to Avalir II but I have my G3 since I put my Dyson DC24 in storage and it still fits and works well with the G3. But this will be replaced with a 12 in stretch hose soon.

It includes all of the original tools. 2 wands, crevice tool with brush, surface nozzle, upholstery nozzle, wall & ceiling brush, and dusting brush. Plus more tools, spraying gun, air intake guard, portable handle, suds tool, inflator/deflator tool, curved wand, grooming tool, spare belt, and once I got the shampoo kit I also got a zippbrush tool for $20 too!

And here is the shampoo kit and it’s in great shape too! It has 2 brushrolls and I think the 2nd one is for hard floors like tile for something like that.

Hey

Nice
I have the avalir shampooo system. It's very easy to use. The other attachment I believe either or close to miracle waxer.
It's for hard wood floors tile and grout.
I don't have that attachment but I have heard good things about it.

Rivstg1, I have a 1957 Kirby 517, 1971 Kirby Classic 1CR, 1974 Kirby Classic Omega 1CB, 1977 Kirby Classic III 2CB, 1984 Kirby Heritage II Turbo 2HD, and a 1991 Kirby Generation 3. Hopefully soon I would love to get one of the 40’s, early/mid 50’s, and 60’s Kirbys.

Also I found out I actually need to get a stretch hose with the G3/G4 hose end since if I use a G5/Avalir II hose on the first 2 Generations, it loses a bit of suction.
