Im not really interested in the vacs of today, but sometimes, there is a new one that catches my eye. Has anyone used one of these yet? It is called the Hoover React and it looks pretty cool (albeit definite competition to the Sharks). This is what they look like.

I think the whole 'lift off' or 'lift away'

Started with bissell. Hello. I mean the mid to late 90s bissell plus and lift off

Hoover, Dirt Devil, Bissell, Sears, and Shark all have 'lift away' models. Now Hoover has an electric hose to be a Powered Lift Away (copying Shark). So glad to see Dyson still innovates and doesn't just copy.

I could care less about a Shark copy. I would've rather seen the Hoover name go by the wayside completely than the garbage they're cranking out now with TTI at the helm. Sad that Oreck's good name will also be dragged through the dirt....

These new Hoovers intrigue me greatly. I quite like the clean look of them, especially the perforated chrome shroud at the top of the bin.

I wanted to open up the bin of one of the ones at Walmart to inspect the cyclone assembly, but unfortunately the store has permanently attached all of the bins to each of their respective cleaners!

Broomvac

Agreed. Although TTI has taken control of several companies and only now create garbage vacs, there will sometimes be a new one that catches my eye. I don't think this new React series has gotten bad reviews yet. They've been very positive. Hopefully I'll get the chance to try it someday.
