Today I got a bissell 10 amp off of craigslist for $20. It is a bit scratched up, but works great and has all of the attachments. I think this was made by roybi in the late 1990's? Are these rare?, because this is the first one i've seen on craigslist in my area, and i haven't seen any on ebay. I hope you guys don't mind I took a photo from vacuumland. I posted a pic of the exact model.

Also- I also went to a volunteers of america- had a dirt devil envision, the classic upright with that black peice of plastic in the front corner(i dont remember what that is), and a hoover windtunnel max cyclonic. The envision looked almost new but I don't have interest in those), I liked the other DD but I have the mvp already, which is almost exactly the same, but I almost got the hoover, but It was dirty, had a burnt bulb, and was missing all but the brush, the filter was dirty too- it wasn't worth $20 to me- the classic was $10 and the envision was $20. i'm not sure what kind of value system they use, but it sure doesnt make sense to me!!!

Rare

This Bissell model is quite rare I would say. I have only seen one in real life. The reason these are so rare is because the bagged model broke quickly. My aunt had one and thats like I said the only one ive seen in my life. The zipper got stuck!! Thats what i've heard about most of them. And they couldn't be emptied. What my aunt actually did was cut it and use duct tape lol. But thats what I have heard that makes these so rare

I had one, mine was blue, but was in really bad condition, and had no attachments. I think I paid 2or 3 dollars for it, and ended up parting it out for the motor, which went into a 9 amp version of the same unit. It was pretty poor at cleaning and was extremely loud, I dont think I would want another one.

Old bissells are like hoovers. I am not a drooler for the design/asthetics/performance of that kind, but only like it because we used to have a Singer version from 1997-2001.

I saw one in a store in North Carolina a long, long time ago. It was a Hoover Elite-clone, but not as common.
