True

But nobody is posting much if anything lately. The search pulls up words in the thread. I don't scroll through thread titles there are too many.

True....HOWEVER......

It’s not appropriate nor polite for these threads to end up like conversations at a party. If we start now to ignore proper posting etiquette, especially when it concerns adhering to subject matter or length of comments, it will ALL go to hell rather quickly. I won’t mention names and we’re SO GLAD that you’re here, but you’re not the first nor the most knowledgeable about your respective favorite brand. Furthermore, we all tend to accomplish more in fewer words. If it takes more than 4 paragraphs to express one’s thoughts, I’d say take it back to the drawing board.

Idk

I haven't been the poster of the thread post anywhere.

To be or not to be that is the wuestion!

A few yrs ago I bought the Guardian Ultra (with Classic style hose, PN, wands & tools) & its a great vac I've ever had; but I put 'makeshift' accessory clips onto the HEPA filter cover so the combo duster/upholstery tool & long crevice tool store onboard the vac & I also bought two aluminum wands for the Classic bare floor brush because the Classic plastic accessory wands aren't really sturdy enough when I use the floor brush & too heavy for vacing cobwebs close to the ceiling & dusting the ceiling fans & central air vents. The plastic wands (usually equipped with the Classic) don't stay attached very good onto each other or onto the crevice tool or combo dusting brush/upholstery tool

I paid $600 for the 'Guardian Ultra Classic' (Guardian Ultra equipped with pistol grip hose & metal wands for PN & floor brush + Sidekick I)

OP here but I had to create a new login because the site didn't recognize my original one. I ended up getting a Lux Legacy from Ray Satterwhite at RVA vacuums and he shipped the vacuum to me no problem. I have an older epic 6500 in the basement that I used before the Miele that I'm gonna send to Ray for restoration. The Miele was definitely a well-engineered machine and I loved how quiet it was but I found it ran very hot and caused an odor. I have a large fluffy dog so I know that has something to do with it but even with the carbon filter it still smelled. I also did not like the Mieles sofa turbo brush I much prefer the Aerus Sidekick. I am very happy with Ray and his above and beyond service. He really believes in the product and it shows! I have saved my login for this account so if anyone has any questions I will be able to actually answer them now!

I have to second the upvote for the Lux Sidekick. I dropped mine on the hardwood floors and the brush roller was dislodged from the grooves. I was afraid I had broken it. But I removed the screws, cleaned the brush roll, and put the roller back in place and it was good as new. it's a tough tool. I thought for sure that I had destroyed it.

Another big fan of the Sidekick here.
Although, in all fairness, I've never used a comparable accessory of any other brand.
Regarding its toughness:
Agreed. But, if you ever use your Electrolux with Sidekick to clean the car interior, then forget that you left the little guy laying in the driveway, and run over him with the car...😬
Yeah. That was when I was still living at home, and it was Mom's vacuum.
Needless to say, I had to buy her a replacement Sidekick.

I have Sharks mini power nozzle

I have Shark’s mini power nozzle with my rocket. It is very nice and has the geared belt as well and a full electric motor. On the first use I dropped on the driveway and was really annoying with myself, there’s small nick in the plastic, but that’s it, it still works fine thank goodness.

Apparently Kenmore also has motorized ones but I’ve never had the opportunity to try one out.
