Need help on Dirt devil

Hi All i have a Dirt Devil upright Room mate Madel 084000 it needs a brush roll. i cant fint it any where it works very well but the bearings must be gone sounds like a cement mixer.I have tried many places on line with no luck. Thank you Doug

They were terribly loud machines, so yours may sound normal. It may be cheaper to just find another Roomate instead of searching for a new brushroll... they were cheap machines to begin with, so used ones don't go for very much. Did you contact Dirt Devil directly just to see if they have it? You might overpay, but I've found that when I can't find something on Ebay, sometimes going directly to the manufacturer helps.
