My Two Kirby Classic 1CRs!

Nice ones! I have one myself but it's in terrible shape and has a motor vibration/noise issue. In summer I'll probably ask around here on how to do a general disassembly and motor tune up on one.

A Temporary Fix

Here's what I did to my 1972 Classic 1CR: use the Legend II Mini Emtor assembly with the Classic III bag cap!

I did this because many of you here say the F&G bag conversion kit does no favors for machines like this one.

Yes that is a very very old video of mine from 8 years ago. It has not been touched since that video was filmed. I was dumber back then and didn't know much about vacuums at all. I'm more of a handyman now at age 25 so it's good I still have it to play around with at learning motor repair. It seems to be the ugly duckling of Kirby collectors, I rarely see these sell on eBay. The last two I seen that went unsold in November 2017 had 0 bids. Been getting into the hobby since last fall, it's just I don;t have a clean workbench right now to work on them, that and it's too cold out.

Also those videos will be left alone where they are at on my main channel as the yare already well-established, but I made a new Youtube channel on Jan. 1 using my username I have here to upload any future vacuum videos I do. It's empty right now but I hope to build it up soon with vids.
