Tom, thank you for the Roll Easy, a machine I have wanted since I visited AeolianDave back in 2010. I wonder is this the only example in the UK?
Gary, the machine in question is branded in the UK as a Remocco, but I believe it to be a Dutch machine by Ruton or Erres. I am sure Doug will know the answer in a second but checking out his site the machine your grandmother had may have been Ford R7 or it may have been an Etonia as Eatons did import machines from Holland. It is VERY heavy, possibly the heaviest machine in my collection
Joel, are you confusing me with John Long perhaps? I know I have quite a few Hoovers in my collection but mixing them up with Electroluxes, Goblins and other sundry brands might be viewed as sacrilege LOLOLOLOL
