The 87 was the stripped down version of the 89 (no cord rel or electronic brain) - Note this is a later machine so the trim under the handle is green, not silver. The last machines even had green trim on the ends as well. This shows the shag rake, dual action floor nozzle and lime green plastic tool kit (I still havnt found the dark green one but there was one) as well as the more common power hose.
It came with the instruction book for the 89 which had a notation that pointed out the differences betweent he machines.
