So... I was lucky enough to find a 120VT numatic Henry, but with it only being suction and no brush, it didn't clean well on carpet. So, I took the head of my Oreck XL Platinum (the only good oreck) and detached it from the body and bag assembly. The Henry wands perfectly fit. Now I still have the handle cord assembly, and have to use 2 outlets but I now have a tandem air Henry. Here's some pics!

Hm

A touch unwieldy but I like the concept of it.
Tell us about your Henry. is it a 1200 watt model? 620? dual speed or single? etc

I'm wondering if it was clean better if you took the fan out of the Oreck?
That's definitely the case when I've seen this sort of setup on a central vacuum.

Excuse the amateur video hour on my part. But here's what a friends Tacony Volt looks like on the end of a cordless Henry.

hmm...

oh that's interesting. I've not seen a dual speed 620w in the states. I asked because I was thinking that it may be possible to add a socket to Henry and power your oreck through that eliminating the need for a 2nd cord. Of course if you don't want to modify your oreck into a permanent powerhead that wouldn't be worthwhile.
