My grandmas brand new lawnmower

Well it was left up to me to unbox my grans new mower, and put it together, and use it- it might as well be mine.
It's got a nice Briggs engine and is VERY quiet in operation!

Really nice mower-so looks like Toros.Have used mowers that have the boxlike grasscatchers-the BOX instead of a bag!I can use either-doesn't matter to me-My Dads Craftsman mower had the box like catcher.Sunbeam rear bag electric mowers had box catchers.Used one breifly.

I know nothing about lawnmowers, but I do remember what we used to have. Mum and Dad had a Qualcast or some sort - it was green, very square looking with a single handle with a yellow trigger (like a vacuum!) instead of having the "handlebar" style that most lawnmowers have and a collector box on the back.

I don't remember what happened to that, but it was replaced with a Qualcast Concord that I remember VERY well. We had that for a long time, until our shed was broken into and it was stolen.

That got replaced with some sort of Flymo and we've had Flymo's ever since.

I don't actually own a lawnmower anymore as I don't have any grass.

Neat machine George, I've kinda liked lawnmowers when I was in my early teens generally Flymo's they used to look really cool compared to other mowers, I got my parents to replace the Black & Decker with one it said HoverVac on the side it was a sign of things to come lol

George, on Saturday, I was moving our lawn and my Flymo broke! the handle's washer came off dunno how, and then I pushed it and the handle snapped off! then the bottom rope thing broke too, its currently outside, I also need a trimmer, it cant do the edges and we have to pull the grass out r use scissors!

Oh tayyab, you sound like you're having garden troubles lol, so are you looking for a new lawnmower? My grandma also has a flymo easimo as well as this mower (she has the electric one as this one is too big for the front garden) and the easimo does a grand job as long/tough grass!
And if your looking for a trimmer, I recommend a flymo multi trim revolution 2300 electric trimmer, it's got autofeed line and you can use it as a grass edger as well as a strimmer! It's great for a large garden or a small garden but I also have this trimmer as well but it's kinda more suited to a field or something lol

Thank you so much George! btw I saw a £13 or £12.97 trimmer in Argos, might get it and gonna get a new flymo, I like them and my neighbours also had lawn mower problems, the neighbour with a DC33, he was gonna start it but the handle snapped the one you hold to keep it on, sadly and my other neighbour with a Henry, their red mower motor didnt turn on, he even took it apart but still didnt work I Like my flymo because you take out the bin, and press the button and it empties like a DC25! or DC14, etc etc lol

Tayyab I had one if those £13 Argos strimmers,
It's a waste of time don't bother!! Line is very poor quality and the thing is poorly made.
Opt for the next model up if anything!

you bought Argos value range? Didnt know they made garden tools! but this is a green one that is some kind of brand that most people heard of, I cant remember which brand tho
