Rainbow was NOT a True Cyclonic vacuum, Alex. If it WAS a True Cyclonic vacuum, then it would have a shroud & 2nd chamber to separate the fine dust, like a dual cyclonic vacuum, & possibly have multiple cyclones, just like a Dyson Root Cyclone. The Rexair Model A did NOT have any of those elements! All it has is the Separator, same as the Model B has, & it separated the air from the dirt. However, the fine dust would still go thru the separator & into the motor, which is why Tom says Rexair had what he calls a "hepa filter" on it's exhaust, because otherwise it would blow tons of dust in the air. Oh, and also, the Model A was in 1935, NOT 1936. Rexair introduced the Model B in 1936 & added water to it, they needed to add the water to improve the vacuum's filtration. Please kindly get your facts straight before making posts!
