With birthdays usually comes money. Since my B-Day was on Friday, I got a little bit of money and decided to go into San Antonio to do some shopping. Before I left a friend suggested checking out Craigslist. I did and found a Decade 80 that someone was asking $10 for. Long story short, I called and it was still available so I stopped by to check it out. It's in really good condition, but smelled like a wet dog and need some strong cleaning. I hee'd and haw'ed and said I'd have to think about it. I offered $5 and shockingly the guy agreed to it. I said it was "kind of old, smelled bad, and needed some work". So I have a Decade 80 in my collection now! I came home and cleaned it up, and here's the results below! The cleaner itself is in immaculate condition except for the hood sticker which has some scarring in it. Other than that all it needed was cleaning up.

Also......why is it so hard for people to throw out that stinky full bag when they sell a vacuum cleaner? I mean is it really that tough to just toss it? I mean really...

Enough ranting.....here's the pictures!

There's also a video that goes with it showing it in action!

Nice!

Great video, and nice machine you have for only $5.00 can't beat that price. I take a bagged vacuum over a bagless one any day. I'm starting to miss having carpets; I have an older house with hardwood floors.
