I have been talking with Chris (hoover28) and we had worked out quite a deal for this machine which was my biggest dream machine, but now i am looking for a Kenmore Duo-Power upright.
Anyway~ the Machine is a basically new out of box 1984 Regina Housekeeper 1000, that may not sound like much, but once you see the picture you'll know why i wanted it so much.
It is literally THE FIRST Regina Housekeeper ever made, hence the name 1000. I have it machine, tools, tool box, and all. Complete, with the tools completely unused and the tool "clips" still in the plastic bag.
This machine runs so well that it is so hard to discribe. The motor is PERFECT, not dry, nothing. It sounds amazing, fairly quiet. And it even has a clutch, to turn the brushroll off when using tools.
Chris, i cannot thank you enough for this machine. It is being displayed on a stand in my room, with the tools part of the display also, and a few scans i found of a scamatic of this machine.
Now, Let's enjoy a few pictures!
