you may have toput screw drivers in both ends of the brushroll....and one of the screws will release faster than than the other. Remove one, pull away the brushroll from the shampooer, and put the new belt on. Reverse the process to put together, you may have to use a toothpic or pick to align the shafter that runs thru the brushroll ( looking at it from the end piece) so that you can screw the screw/rubber guard back in.
