Watching a station called "Antenna TV" today. Old programs.

Dennis the Menace, Batchelor Father and Father Knows Best this afternoon. Each one had a vacuum scene. Dennis and Father Knows Best and Dennis the Menace had Roll Easy and Batchelor Father ahd a swivel top.

Too bad the FKB sound guy used a Hoover Convertible sound byte. Why do they always seem to do that???????

Any ideas?

On Bachelor Father, there is an episode where Peter is vacuuming with the Swivel Top and humming along to the noise it's making. He composes a tune for a Twilight Zone type program as a result. I'm hoping Comcast gets Antenna TV here, that's my favorite vintage show.

The Middle

Does anyone else watch "The Middle" on Wednesday nights? I noticed in this week's episode there were at least 3 vacuums in the Heck household. The oldest son (Axl) was vacuuming all over the house with a Hoover Windtunnel (I think), there was a Eureka upright in a corner of the kitchen, and a Dirt Devil laying on a shelf or workbench in the garage.
