i am trying to find some information on this thing before i list it on ebay..... first i would like to know the age of it and second an approximate value?? any info would be highly appreciated!! all it says on it is montgomery ward signature model 85urc-2468

Wards Signature Hand Vacuum by Royal

Justin,

You have the Montgomery Ward version of the Royal 501 Prince hand vacuum. This was sold in approximately c. 1958-c. 1963.

I don't know too much about them, but what I can find dates it back to the 1950's. Here is an ended eBay listing of one almost identical to yours that sold recently. Hope this helps!
