Mini power nozzle

It's a rebadged Panasonic cleaner. The mini power nozzle is made by Panasonic and is also sold in Japan. I think it's Model MC-CL 943. Just go to Panasonic's website and you'll see the identical cleaner in blue.

I think that's a very innovative tool for bare floor cleaning, but I would never use the same attachment on carpeting. Bare floors get covered in all kinds of wet dirt (food and drinks on kitchen floors, shampoo on bathroom floors) that eventually dries. And unless properly rinsed, there is always a residue of soap or cleanser on bare floors. And some wood floors have a residue from waxing or other cleaning fluids. Any spinning brush from a power nozzle that touches these surfaces is going to accumulate dirt and soapy or waxy residue. I would not want that transferred to my carpets, especially delicate Oriental rugs.

In my opinion the bristles from a bare floor tool should never be used to brush a rug or carpet. Unless you can easily change out the brush roll between tasks, like the new Shark Stick Vac offers.
