I am surprised at how little I have seen about the Miele S7 upright here. What do others that have one think of these at this point?

I have the Bolero. I could share a photo, but it is just the basic black model that we have all seen. I was a total Hoover (original Convertible) and Kirby addict, but with how Hoover has degraded over time, I decided to try a new and more permanent choice. I have a Kirby Diamond edition that I love, but I was using it less and less and chose the Miele for convenience over the Kirby. Yet while the Miele is very convenient to use as well as being very powerful, it isn't perfect and I am starting to revert back to the Kirby more lately. What do others think?

I LOVE the S7! I'm going to go over to my friends shop and order the Tango in the end of June. Although, I kind of like the Swing now. Tough decision :S. Of course an S4 Neptune will come home too!

After those, just a NIB (unused, not even unpacked) 2008 Sentria, and I'm a happy camper. :)

S7 Swing

I've had the S7 Swing for a while now, and really love it. I do think it's a tad bit on the heavy side, but other than that, I really like it.

I've never used an S7 since I don't know of a dealer anywhere near here. The closest place I'd assume would have Mieles would be in San Antonio which is an hour away!

Andrew, for some reason, that S7 Swing just looks like it belongs in your house.

I've got 2 Kirbys in my collection currently, but for whatever reason I find myself rarely using them anymore. I normally find myself reaching for a vintage Hoover, the Conquest, or my Sanitaire before anything else. I need to quit being a bad collector and start rotating through more of my machines!

Miele's7 are nice

but I love my Kirby Diamond Edition. No matter what vacuum I use I always come back to my Kirby. It is heavy but it does an excellent job...

Kirby Rules

Hi DanI do the same thing. I have about 40 uprights in my collection i do however run them all every so often to keep things moveing but always back to the Kirby. Take care Doug

Kirby's Rule

I have mostly Kirby's in my collection! But your right you do have to run them all once in awhile!! My Kirby 561 is my favorite. That is why my old name here on the forum was Kirbykid. But was off of here for a year and when I came back they told me Kirbykid was no longer available so I came up with this name It is supposed to be Thermopkid, But came out as Thermokid.... But I don't care as long as I am back amongst all you wonderful vacuum people!!!
