Miele Red Star canister set - Local pickup in East Plano, TX

I picked this from the curb back on Sunday and donated to my friend's thrift store today - the Plaid Tag at NE corner of Ave K (Plano rd) and Park, next to Poor Richards Cafe.

The main unit worked fine. Used but not abused. Unit ran great, sounded healthy, is very quiet.

Hose is good, all attachments are there. Has metal wand. The motor driven floor unit switch is intermittent - hard to keep it going. However there is a non-power floor nozzle also. The cord rewinder works okay.

Since it is donated today, it may be a few days before it is priced and put out on the floor. She puts reasonable prices on things, so no worry there.

Les, I take 1-2 pickup loads there each month of good stuff from the curb, friends, neighbors and myself.
This one family who owns the store supports both a local home for abused/battered women & their children, as well as helping the local homeless have the basic necessities.
I get more satisfaction in helping them than I do at my day job.
It helps the environment as well, as I really hate waste.
