I just found out about this from Sun paper. The exhibit is 10 mi west of me in Johnson City TN as was the TV cabinet factory. The Magnavox electronic factory was another 30 mi west in Greeneville TN(home of Pres A Johnson)starting in 1947 and,I think, became the last US factory to make a TV.The Magnavox Historical Preservation Association is using the ETSU museum for the exhibit with full color booklet available. This sounds like something any town that produced a well known product should use as an example of remembering history.I hope to see very soon.Others take a look at--www.etsu,edu/cass/reece.

Link??

That's what was in newspaper article. You might try a more basic search for ETSU (East TN State University) or Reece Museum-Johnson City,TN by phone.I may try to go Wed as they are closed on weekends.According to article they have their first transistor radio (made in TN) and a complete set of Spirit of 76 models and MORE.
