It does? Look like a Lux, I mean?

It resembles the approximate length and circumference, and has the hose on the front. But I would venture that nearly everyone on this forum could tell it apart from an American Electrolux at 20 paces

I have one, alot older from Japan of all places , It is an Electrolux, They were made in Sweden but now more than likely Hungary like all other high end Electrolux vacs

Viking

We had Viking in US about late 80s when ABLux of Europe wanted back in the American market.First the orange tank and later the white shown above. Also small tan upright and 3 brush sham/polisher based on old B-6.The already owned Eureka which furnished the power nozzle.Much of he Viking management were former Elux execs who were able to convert many salesmen from US Elux to Viking. They did well in many areas until they were shut down overnight.Mangers were told Viking was over, lock their office and a truck would come to empty it.--I have about a dozen various models waiting to be sorted in 'the place of which we do not speak'.At least 2 are for parts with cordwinder problems. Some will be complete. This is waiting as a near future project and will not happen instantly. They will be for sale.My price could be $494 or LESS.Maybe much less.

Lux

It never ceases to amaze me all the variations on a theme that Electrolux produced and sold in different territories - I rather like this one.

We certainly had nothing like it here. I have a Lux 710 which is a variation of the 330/345 and that one of Gareth's has a certain resemblence to our 355.

The video that Ryan linked to is from our own Markus79 so maybe he can give us some more information on it - it looks a good performer with that PN.

These NOS (I presume) machines are pretty pricy though - I think it might be cheaper to buy the Australian one and pay the shipping! The only thing I can suggest is be (very) patient and keep an eye on it to see if the price drops if they do not sell. They are a nice machine though

Electrolux D720

Hi!
This is my very first Electrolux D720 with motorbrush. This model sold during 1978-1981 on door to door and it was a very popular vacuum in Finland. At the same time sold also D710 but it´s extremely rare here. Motor is 900W. Made in Sweden. Door to door salesman used a cloth bag and demonstrated how powerful this was. Especially with the powernozzle. After this came beige Electrolux D730 with automatic power control.

Best Regards

Electrolux Z320 Automatic Control 1971-1974

There is a picture of my Electrolux Z320 from early 1970´s. This model sold after Z100 Automatic and before Z325 Jumbomatic. This sold by door to door and you can see these still in use. These are high quality machines and it got steel body. There is a one old man in Finland who told on TV that he sold these over 500 pieces in one year 1970´s. This record is still in force. Vacuum has a 700W motor and funny thing is that this vacuum stopped when dust bag is full and dust bag door get open.

Hope you like this=)

Best Regards
Markus
