Looks like a mini meet is happening again

VacuumLand – Vintage & Modern Vacuum Enthusiasts

Help Support VacuumLand:

What a coincidence! The St. Louis vacuum collectors are also having a Halloween bash - as well as a Thanksgiving party which we have every year. It gives everyone a chance to use new machines like "The Pigg" or the Black Knight 2000 from Air-Tec. I liked your idea of using upside down Hoover hoods as potato chip bowls - I'll be using Hyla water pans (new ones) for that purpose. Hope your bash goes as great as all the ones we've had here in St. Louis in the past.

When I talk to Joe Kassock, I'll invite him, too, of cou

There are a few new people I'll invite as well. Luke G. might venture here, too.
I'll have to think about what to cook for the group.
There are several machines (were never part of my collection) to sell/trade, etc.
it'll be great to have the place full again.

Hi John just tried to take off

Hi John just tried to take off the date hope I can make it I will bring something and can come early to help you set anything up just call me 772-233-8469 that is my cell sincerely Sam :)

Friends will be bringing all sorts of machines

I'll be setting out some machines for quick sale. NONE of them WAS EVER PART OF MY COLLECTION. Sorry, caps lock.
There are 3 Kirbys (one full box of tools, electrolux polisher (gold), Hoover Convertibles ( can be restored, used as parts donors) bojack bags, and the like.
Hopefully, the driveway will be lined up, then emptied. There will be no pigs of any sort here on the property.
Halloween decor will abound, as well as nice, Autumnal comfort food. Mike, fear not! I'll have gallons of your favorite beverage:your Pittston Hospital Iced Tea. (Just made 2 pitchers yesterday.

Can't wait

Looking forward to seeing everybody again. It's been too long.

John- If Joe Kassock can come let him know I have a nice Hoover brush vac to trade him for the Regina Power team if he is interested. Also if you still have the green Regina broom in the cellar I'm still interested in that too.
Let us know if we can bring anything. Cider, donuts, halloween candy etc. Just name it.

See ya soon,

Joel

Joel,

Yes, way too long. It'll be great to see all of you. There are a few new people coming, too, I believe.
I was planning on serving cider. If you'd like to bring some, perhaps som Halloween candy.
Yes, the electricbroom is here. You certainly may take a look at it. I think I see that same model in your photo. There are all kinds of things here. Some won't be out. If there's anything you'd like to see, just let me know, and I'll gladly let you look at it.
John
