Hi! My name's Ronny, I had an account here many years ago but I think it got deleted or something, so I made a new one.

Anyway, I have a hoover 700 from... I want to say 1927 or so? And it's been the daily workhorse for years. Problem is, it's missing a couple parts here and there, mainly the belt cover! I had a piece of cut-out metal on there, but it got lost and I'd rather have a real one anyway. SO! I was wondering, does anyone have an extra belt cover? I'm also in the market for the hose adapter that fits under the fan or on the bag bracket for blowing. I missed an auction recently on ebay and I'm kicking myself, but they were selling a handful of the accessories for about $15.

Also, if the asking price it too high I think it would be neat if I could "rent" them (with deposit of course) from someone until I could have them scanned and duplicated with a 3D printer and then send them back. I've wanted to do that for a while because the Hoover is by far not the only vintage appliance I need parts for!

Thanks, all!

I have a 700 that has a broken yoke during the move from the old Tacony Vacuum Museum to it's new home at the New Museum of Vacuums. I'll sell you the belt cover. $20 includes postage. email me. dyson man 1 at hotmail dot com
