Well not new.

Cost me $130. Too expensive considering I have to have the motor repaired as it needs to be oiled.

another

picture. this shows the 2 speed switch which both speeds work. Notice the cracking rubber around the plastic.

Oh guess what...

more again! The famous "It beats... as it sweeps... as it cleans"

I thought this one says it it lights... as it beats..... Because it was the first with a light.

That is an awesome machine! I wish mine came in that kind of shape when i got it. When i got mine i had to get a new handle. The stupid who sold it packed it strait into a box, he didn't take it apart or pack it. I think you will find that the 800's do really good on plush carpets. It made mine look new.

fixing

its going to the shop to get fixed later. It is in such nice shape, it has not been used in 45+ years. It needs a belt as its old one was petrified in the shape of the way it sits on the pully.

Hoover 800

It's a nice cleaner. I hate to burst your bubble, but it was actually the model 750 that was the first to have a headlight, and no, the bag is not genuine Hoover. Crazy as it sounds, I kinda like the way the bojack bags look on some machines. This is certainly one example :-)
