Lewyt Model 55 vacuum bags

Hello!

Could someone please recommend a modern vacuum bag which would fit a recently purchased, vintage Lewyt Model 55 canister vacuum? I believe that Lewyt originally supplied their Model 55s with something they called "SPEED-SAKS". Thank you in advance for any help regarding this matter!!!

I think you can still purchase them on a web site call allvacuumbags.com...I think they come in packages of 10 or 15

If you can't find Lewyt vacuum bags locally, or prefer not to do business online, ask for Hoover SR bags that fit the Hoover Duros canister. My local vac shop guy told me one time that he sold these to a customer needing bags for a Lewyt Big Wheel, & they fit & work just fine.

I've also stuffed a regular Hoover S bag in them, fit just fine.
