LED lights for Kirby and Royal

I bought 1156 LED bulbs for my Kirby Legend II and Classic III. They look like they should fit but won't go into the sockets far enough to twist and lock. Has anyone found a brand that fits and works? Has anyone identified an automotive LED that will work in a later Royal that uses 12V bulbs?

I also tried 1156 and others that looked like they would work but I found that the only bulbs that work in my Kirby's are KIRBY bulbs. I believe that Kirby designed the bulbs and socket to only accept Kirby bulbs.


 


So don't waste any more money on non OEM bulbs. Spend the little extra money and avoid all the hassle.
