Here is a hoover I bought on ebay because it was soo cheap and put a crazy bid and one it and it turned out to be really nice.

That was the very Convertible I grew up with from 1977 to 1986 or so. It was finally put to rest because I had taken it apart so much that it no longer worked right. LOL
My mom purchased that with wedding money & credit from J.W. Knapp's Department Store on Washington Avenue, Downtown Lansing In September 1974, after returning multiples of things they already had. To my knowledge we never had tools for it.
This machine was downgraded to upstairs vacuum with the purchase of our family house and a new Kirby Tradition with all the toys in 1980.
I wish I still had that....
