Kriby Maintenace/Repair

Anybdy in the northern MA area (Chelmsford) know of a good place to have my Kirby Ultimate G serviced ? I would like to have all the gaskets replaced, the bearings checked and lubricated, a new fan put in....basically have it refurbished...it works fine (sometimes makes some funny noises) but I have had it for about 10 years so I think it should be 'gone through'...

I am not a fan of the Kirby Distributor in Hudson, NH so I am hoping to find someplace else that is thorough and will not "hack job" it

I don't know of anyone in your area. BUT if you are willing to ship it off to Ontario, Canada, I do know a VERY GOOD distributor in Woodbridge, Ontario, just outside of Toronto. Hickman & Hickman, a Kirby distributor that has been around since the 1950's, is a father-son team. The link I have provided to them says they were established in 1994, but I bet that's probably because the business was handed over to the son in 1994.

I have dealt with them for years, & they do excellent work. I would go as far to say that they are one of the best Distributorships in North America, in fact. I am confident you will be VERY PLEASED with their work on your Kirby.
