VacuumLand – Vintage & Modern Vacuum Enthusiasts

Help Support VacuumLand:

That was a hoot! Check out Frigidaire's Kitchen of Tomorrow clip from the New York's World Fair. I guess Helen Lawson was having trouble finding starring roles, so took a job hawking kitchen appliances! Oh well, a girl's gotta work.

Huh.....

That was done in Lawrence Kansas, at the University of Kansas AKA: KU..lol.....Cool, that had some history to that. It kinda shows how modest Kansans really lived, they were NOT that extravagant.....I see constant evidence of that every time i find house hold implements and appliances here, Its just something Ive grown to notice.

And NOT ONLY is it a Norge Kitchen, Its also a Sunbeam Kitchen, with a nice Mixmaster model 9, and the Vacuum Coffee master!

For the people that didn't get lessons like these passed down from older generations they should make video's like these again. Instead of trying to make everything idiot proof and in doing that ruining things for everyone else haha.

I think there should be educational video's for vacuuming too, seems like most forgot how to use and care for their sweeper when bagless became popular.

and the Vacuum Coffee master!

Jae, that was not a Sunbeam Coffee Master, that was a Cory Glass Vacuum Pot... but that is such a cool film, I love films like that ...they show what a kitchen really looked like back then..........PAT COFFEY
