i own a kirby g5 performance vacuum cleaner! i love it! It is awsome! anyone els own one of these vacuums? what do you think of it?

The G5 is a phenomenal vacuum. Kirbys are remnants of a dying breed of ultra high quality, ultra long lasting, extremely powerful vacuum cleaners. I don't care much for a lot of the accessories in that they simply don't do the job their intended to do as well as they should for the price. I currently have a 515, Dual Sanitronic 50, Classic Omega, Classic III, G4, G5, G6, and my favorite "Prometheus" the Heritage G Prototype. Safe to say, I'm a bit of a fan.

I have a G5 (and a Sentria, Heritage2, and Dual Sanitronic 80) and they are fun vacuums.... I've always thought the G5 was the most elegant with the burgandy... It's a bit cumbersome in a small place, but it does work well.

Lunchboxsean, what in the world is a Heritage G prototype? Do you have pictures?

Had a G4

I absolutely love the "G" series from Kirby. I had a G4, but sold it for much needed cash, plus I want an Ultimate or newer if I can find one at the right price. They are great machines, but the only thing I could not get used to was the sound from the TechDrive. I was raised on a Kirby Classic and I guess I am just use to the beautiful chorus they make.

Good choice -- can't go wrong with a Kirby!
