Kirby vacuum Cleaner Rebuilds

Hello! I need help. Do you any know how to send in a Kirby machine for a REBUILD? I just contacted the Kirby Company to ask and they will tell me how. I am going to post pictures soon.

You need to contact the Kirby Rebuild Department, they have a separate phone number. You will get a recording, leave your name and phone number and the model you want rebuilt over the phone. They will get back to you. If you are the original owner, it will be cheaper, than if you just want one rebuilt. They will then send you paperwork to fill out, about original owner, proof of purchase etc. This is where you can put a note if you are not the original owner....You will send that information in the same box as your Kirby to them.

I have had a few rebuilt, but was not the original owner. You also have to box it up and pay for shipping to and from. Turn around time is a few weeks. They do an excellent job. Good Luck.

Oh one other thing. Depending on what model you are going to get rebuilt, there is a chance it will come back in another color. They will usually explain this to you.

Well, this machine actually came with nothing but the machine, but I will find a box for it on ebay. I will probably have to get attachments for it as well to complete it.

your better off learning to rebuild it yourself. if its pre g series, they will NOT replace attachments. the older machines will get black trim black bag and black cord it its made before the classic III. i rebuild my kirby's myself for this reason. aluminum polishing takes some time to master well, but if you take it slow, its a valuable skill to learn in restoration work.
