The shampoo kit was an optional additional cost purchase it didn't come with the machine as part of the standard "retail" deal. I believe the VHS instruction manual tape came with this shampoo kit as well if I remember correctly. Not hard to add one in though, they are about $30 at eBay prices.

I found a complete shampooer assembly with an unopened bottle of shampoo for $6.00 at a local thrift store.
