Well, not quite twins -- one's a 517 and one's a 519. I challenge y'all to guess which is which!

I've always liked having two of this model-series. When I was a little boy in Virginia, my mom played the organ for a large Baptist church in Hampton, Virginia. The custodian's room at the church was a large room, one end of which was under a stairway. There were two Kirby 516, 517, 518 or 519 machines in there (speckled bag with round belt lifter), stored under the stairway with their handles in the half-down position. They were very shiny and new-looking and glistened in the semi-dark corner where they lurked!

well im going to take a flying leap and guess....

the only difference i see, is one has a smooth handle center (believe that's the 517), and the other has the ribbed like a 518 and a Sanitronic 562 and 7 (which i think that's the 519). Just a guess...=)

the only reason i know that is....

I have a all original 518 and a sani 7 and just put two and two together, so to speak...lol
