HI THERE, HAS ANYONE EVER SPRAYED OIL BASED PAINT MIXED WITH THINNERS / TURPS USEING THE KIRBY ULTIMATE G SERIES. THEY RECKON THAT IT CAN CATCH ALIGHT, I WANT TO TRY THAT. I RECKON THAT A TURPENTINE MIX WONT CATCH ALIGHT

Spraying paint with the spray jar on a Kirby will send minute particles into the air. If the the area you are in in enclosed, there's the possibility that the motor's carbon brushes, which create a spark as the motor runs, would ignite those particles. If you are outside, I can see no possibility of the particles in the air igniting.
 
Kirby warns against using their spray gun with oil base or other flammable materials-its oK with water based materials.The Kirby Sprayer is similar to a High CFM paint sprayer-the machine sprays with high CFM rather than high air pressure.These machines are meant for non flammable materials as well-since their "compressor" contains a motor blower like what a vacuum cleaner has.
