I wish you luck with your sale! I thank you for posting this, it's interesting to see a mint and intact rebuilt vintage Kirby just as it left the rebuild shop. Most 50s and 60s Kirbys have been rebuilt so many times there's rarely but one or two original parts left.  I have a rebuilt 500 series too, but it was done in the 80s by an independent vacuum shop with whatever they had laying around and not officially by Kirby.
