Hey All,
My husband and I bought a new Avalir to add to our Sentria. Our new home has wood floors in the dining and kitchen area. Today, as part of my spring cleaning, I decided to use the Avalir and clean / polish the wood floors as they were looking pretty bad. The miracle surface shampoo system, different than the Sentria model, worked well. It scrubbed the wood and dried very nicely, we were impressed. When it came to using the Kirby Miracle Shine and spray, we were less impressed. Further we feel we are not using it right.
First, it left streaks everywhere as I sprayed and moved the Kirby against the grain, not with the grain/plank pattern.
Second, the cleanup was terrible. I’ve used Kirby carpet shampoo cleaner for years with little cleanup other than a good wash, rinse and dry. Using lemon scented ammonia, it took me some time to get all the grime off the Kirby and the multi surface cleaner - what a mess!!
Any pointers as to these two issues. Surely I did something wrong and need your help. Thanks, Matthew
