Kirby Legend II BPI

When I push my Kirby LII forward the BPI goes off, but when I pull back it comes back on again. Is this normal or do I have it to low on the carpet?

Belt replacement should fix it.

I should have taken your advice Matthew, it was the belt. The new belt would fit inside the old belt with about a 1/8" between the two. I didn't think I had vacuumed enough in two months to need a new belt.
