Try it before you buy it. The Classic 1-CR's I have found, everyone of them have had bearing problems. The reason being is Kirby took a Sanitronic 5 AMP motor and repackaged it and put a larger head on it and it put quite a strain on the bearings. The Classic Omega 1-CB Kirby that preceded it in 1973 had a 6 AMP motor and didn't have this problem. The Classic 1-CR was the last Kirby to have repackable bearings. The bearings used for the Classic Omega are the new style sealed bearings and are still used today in the Sentria models 1 and 2.

I would question the re-built info. how far did they go with the rebuild..? Is the brush roll worn.? Is it new.? Has the motor been totally rebuilt like new bearings and brushes.? Is the armature worn.? Is the bag still like new.? Is the motor fan ok.? Have a good look at the cord and plug.
But then again when you buy online it's Buyer Beware....!!!!!!! Good luck.....
