Hey everyone! I have a Kirby G5 that I picked up, and when I put the vacuum in the "neutral" setting the wheels make a clicking noise...is this normal? Please let me know. Thanks!

I think it's just due to someone turning the Kirby off in "drive" mode for many years.

The Kirby G3 I gave away did this. I'm sure someone else will know exactly what it is, but I've just thought it as "someone did the naughty thing you shouldn't do."

It really can't get much worse if you put the Kirby in Neutral before turning it off though.

Well I've just looked at my Gsix which was making a clicking noise in Neutral when it was wheeled along. Turns out it was just needing some grease, but others may find the engaging mechanism has worn. See YouTube vid for clarity...
