Kirby Dirt meter score

Today was a good shopping day. After all this time I finally found a dirt meter for my Kirby's. I would also like to get the adaptor for the G Series Kirby's as well.

I was amazed at what the Kirby 517 sucked out of the carpet after a through vacuuming on Saturday with the Sentria.

I got everything pictured for $ 35.00 at the local Salvation Army store.

what is the meter use for why take the bag off ?????

What is it for?? It was a tool for salesmen for demonstrating , with the dirt meter so one could easily see what was being picked up in the customers' carpet unlike what using the bad would show
