Here's a really nice and all-original Kirby Classic on eBay. It appears to be in excellent condition. The starting bid is very reasonable -- the shipping, not so much. Maybe the seller doesn't know it can be disassembled.

The original brush roll with the 514-style metal end caps is still intact! That was changed by early 1974.
