Kirby Classic Omega - Old Safety Switch?

Here is a Kirby Classic Omega 1-CB motor unit with a serial of #M345728 on it. I presume this must have been the serial # at which point the safety switch changed from part #134365 to #134373, right? Because it looks like the later-style that you still get under part #134380.
