Or in a less likely scenario is that it'd need some epoxy for the other part. There's also a less likely chance that parts are still available today but if all else fails, 3D printing would be your best shot at replacing them. Overall, as long as the bag door stays sealed and shut when the vacuum is on, you'll be just fine. Panasonic type U bags will fit on your machine since that's who made your Kenmore.
