Kenmore Tangerine and Aqua Canister Manufacturer

I was looking at vacuums on eBay and happened to look at the tangerine Kenmore canister which is a BOL PN canister. Some have said that these are made by TTI. However, in the photo on eBay I saw that the model starts with 116, which would indicate it is made by Panasonic.

I had a feeling this was probably so. I wondered why Sears would contract TTI to make just the canister yet use Panasonic attachments, hose and wands. However, I'm not sure whether these vacuums are made in China or Mexico, as there was no country of origin given on the label.

I'm sure the motor in these aqua and tangerine vacuums is likely from China though. Not sure what the newer Progressives have in them.

Well, the Tangerine & Aqua models look suspiciously like Panasonic's own MC-CG902 canister but with thicker plastics. Even the HEPA filter tab looks similar as well as the hose.
