I found one at GoodWill today, but didn't buy it because it didn't work when I plugged it in

Maybe I'll buy it; since it was one of my childhood vacs.

I would go back and buy it! Those are very rare!

That's what I'll do; I called GoodWill to reserve the vacuum. Hope the kids don't object the "new" vac.

Okay. I have one I got a few months ago,and it's in okay shape but the fan is too small for the shaft and there is a whole bunch of mice feces in it so I just put it with some other mice feces machines for now. I also have the hose and 2 wands for it. Does the one at your goodwill have any attachments? And what color is the vacuum? Mine is black and it's a fairly good machine, but it is kind of loud.

Is the base red or is the bag red and black?

Bag black & red stripe that says "HEAVY DUTY" in dark grey

That's really rare. Mine has a gray bumper and a black bag with a red stripe.
