Kenmore Central Vac's

What year did Kenmore stop making their central vacs. Was it in the early 90's or late 80's. I seem to remembers the Sears Catalogs had them up until maybe like the last two years before the catalog was shut down.

Um I dont know if i am just crazy but it seems to me that kenmore still makes central vacs. Zach

Maybe I have seen something on e-bay about Kenmore Central Vacuums but I know that for a long long time Kenmore stopped making them and it wasn't long before the catalog was shut down. I was just wondering when that was.

In Canada, central vacs are more popular for some reason. Sears still sells central vacs here - but their tools kits have seriously been downgraded as they come with poorly-designed TTI-Hoover attachments (hate that TTI dusting brush with those coarse, boar-hair bristles). At one point, our Sears Kenmore central vacs came with beautiful Eureka attachments, including the famous Express power nozzle.
